Liz’s freelance commissions have included liturgy, and poetry might be described as her first writing language. It was this medium she discovered her love for crafting language through as a child, falling in love with words for their musicality as much as their meaning. And it is this medium she most frequently returns to for personal expression.

Her most recent project is a collection of 366 nature poems capturing her daily encounters with nature in and around her home in Nidderdale, North Yorkshire. She wrote these between June 2020 and May 2021, and having recently finished editing them, will shortly be querying them for publication.
