Consultancy work

Liz Baddaley spent twenty years writing for social justice and environmental charities. She began in-house then worked for more than ten years as a consultant, specialising in educational books and engagement resources.

Her clients during this time included The Children’s SocietyChristian Aid, Friends of the Earth, Embrace the Middle East, Scripture Union, The Methodist Church, All We Can and World Vision UK.

Many of the commissions she took were for longer works seeking to engage adults, youth, children and all ages together with poverty and justice issues on a deeper level. They included books, study guides, websites and online termly syllabuses for school groups, and many calendar-based materials. But she also created shorter editorial content, press releases, fundraising appeals and other marketing literature as required.

Following a serious illness, Liz decided to take a break from her consultancy work in order to spend more focused time on her own writing. She is currently querying her recently finished diary of 366 nature poems, Wild Word Sketches, while embarking on a new work in progress.
